About
Intimation Productions

Intimation Productions was founded in 2007 on the conviction that the visual arts fields of film, television, and theatre have an obligation to engage the audience. We believe that many experiences are universal, and in an age in which people find it difficult to communicate, art itself should serve as the bridge.

Intimation Productions is a creative company involved in the production of film (including feature-length and short films, narrative fiction, and documentaries), theatre, photography, live events, and more. As a one-stop production house and collaborative arts collective, the Intimation team and our extended family of creative colleagues bring projects to fruition from start to finish. Members of Intimation Productions have particular expertise in producing, script supervising, acting, directing, script development, unit production managing, front-end box office management, proofreading & editing, photo & video documentation, graphic design, and more

Intimation Productions strives to produce new and exciting works of art, as well as celebrate and bring to life past works that encourage philosophical and artistic debate, delve into social commentary, and promote open communication.

An award-winning and critically acclaimed professional actor and former child star with over three decades of experience in film and television, Jesse added producing to his areas of expertise with the co-founding of Intimation Productions in 2007. Since then, Jesse has established himself as a film and video production expert with over a decade of experience in producing, production managing, script supervising, AD’ing, camera operating, and script doctoring. Directing was a natural progression for an actor and producer who also has significant teaching experience. This combined skill set makes Jesse an adept director with an enhanced understanding of and compassion for both cast and crew.

Jesse works in both the narrative fiction and documentary spheres, including short and feature-length films, episodic projects (web series), branded content, music videos, educational content, and more. His past films (Deadbeat, Leaving Circadia, Family On Board, 16 Mins) have won Best Picture, Best Director, Audience Choice, and Jury awards at a multitude of film festivals, including being selected for consideration by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the 2016 Oscars. Theatre credits range from Hamlet and Cymbeline to Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood to Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party and also include various new works.

In addition, Jesse is a huge fan of animation, which correlates with his special focus on voice acting and voice casting, with significant looping, ADR, and character VO experience. Jesse co-founded Loop Group NYC in 2018 with producer and friend Phil Newsom (whose film Feeling Through was shortlisted for the 2021 Oscars!).

While acting and directing are his primary passions, Jesse is a serial entrepreneur and a business owner in multiple fields. Since 2005, he has been a top-tier math & science educator, test prep tutor, and admissions consultant whose clients have attended the best schools in the nation. He was once named a “grammarian scholar” due to his superior proofreading and text editing skills, which he has transferred into extensive teaching experience in writing and grammar as well.
